What to expect
Florida's grey squirrels and southern flying squirrels move into attics, soffits, and chimneys to nest. They chew through electrical wiring (a fire risk), gnaw on AC line sets, and leave droppings and urine that contaminate insulation. Their nests block vents and dryer ducts. We humanely live-trap squirrels, install one-way exclusion doors when active young are present, seal every entry point with reinforced hardware, clean up droppings and decontaminate soiled insulation, and replace insulation where the damage demands it.

What's the difference between grey squirrels and flying squirrels?
Grey squirrels are active during the day and enter through obvious openings. Flying squirrels are nocturnal, slip through tiny gaps, and tend to come in colonies. Our inspection identifies which species is involved and adjusts the removal approach accordingly.
